Orange, you ask?

I have a sticky note in my study that says ” Discipline= Khalsa, without Discipline, there’s no Khalsa, No Sikh…no Sikhi” …Sikhi is embracing the truth & being proud of it… Sikhi is being disciplined enough to earn a fair life, for oneself & the others. Sikhi is to be honest, humble, and ever willing to make sacrifices for peace, justice  & truth. I feel that Sikhs are revolutionaries, by the very basic nature of their existence. Sikhs stand up for the truth & for those in need, they feed everyone who comes to their door. But ironically, Sikhs are the most attacked, most targeted, most massacred people of all. Our generations have been repeatedly wiped off, our women & children have been repeatedly raped & mass killed, Our shrines have been burnt & bombed over & over again & we await justice…
Personally, I don’t even understand the idea of “sacrifice”, but it is clear that being a sikh means standing up for the truth, even if you have to lay down your life & sacrifice all you’ve got for it…
I honestly can’t wrap my head around all this, but I know who to support & why.
